Met up with friends for a fabulous lunch at Dixie Crossroads yesterday - a Titusville favorite right on the East Coast Greenway. Afterward I chatted with owner Laurilee, a great trail supporter and advocate, about the trail and the challenges of completing it. As shown, a good portion is complete right near the restaurant but still more remains to be done. By the way, Laurilee offers free fill-ups for cyclists who bring in a water bottle, so no need to bike thirsty, although you may not be able to resist those shrimp once you smell the cooking.
We all had the red shrimp - so sweet and tender it was declared "better than lobster".
