Urban Land Institute Senior Resident Fellow Ed McMahon's TEDx January talk at Jacksonville University. Ed is a legend in American placemaking. He talks greenways fluently. "
I lived near Eau Gallie when the beautiful Oleander Hotel was demolished, and also when our Friendly Dragon at Dragon Point was allowed to collapse... imagine what Eau Gallie would be like if we had these irreplaceable treasures today... As Ed says in his talk "It's the power of Uniqueness that attracts people to an area. Saving historic places Is saving the heart, soul and economy of an area. You can grow without destroying the sense of place."
